Bal Sanskar Kendra

This is a children’s Hostel(Bal Sanskar Kendra)with the present capacity for 100 children. The institution provides both a home and education to children. These children come from a variety of backgrounds. The Samiti takes care of their stay, food and education.

A Special emphasis is paid to overall development of the children with particular focus on inculcating a value system. Children are also taught lessons on health and sanitation. The formal education for younger children is arranged in house whereas children in higher classes are sent to various schools and colleges for their education.

The inmates are encouraged to take part in various types of competitions and many of them have won laurels in cultural and literary events and sports tournaments. Many children have participated in long distance cycling tours, mountaineering expeditions and adventure sports and excelled themselves.

The aim is to provide an environment that will encourage and enable the children to stand on their feet and become self-dependent. Concerted efforts are made to impart vocational training to these children which shall enable them to earn their bread and butter after their stay in hostel.

Since its beginning in 1976, thousands of children have found shelter here and many of these have become successful in almost all possible professions. Many inmates have become doctors, engineers, accountants, post graduates, painters etc and many are in process of becoming.

Also a government homeopathic dispensary is run giving medical access to one and all in the nearby area without any distinction.
